Did you catch us in BBC Prom 17 on 27 July? The spooky sounds of Crouch End Festival Chorus in The Immortal – Mark Simpson's powerful oratorio based on Victorian sceances – can be heard on the BBC radio player until 26 August. Brace yourselves...

We're not quite done with the BBC Proms yet this summer, because CEFC singers will be heading to Hyde Park on Saturday 9 September for Proms in the Park, headlined by our patron Sir Ray Davies.

Running alongside the famous Last Night of the Proms at the nearby Royal Albert Hall, the event will be an open-air concert of rock and classical music featuring big names such as Sir Bryn Terfel (another Crouch End Festival Chorus patron), Elaine Paige and Michael Ball, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra. Tune in and join in with the traditional Last Night sing-along at the end!
